MS in AIT: Our Curriculum


The MS in Applied IT comprises 30 credit hours distributed across core requirements, electives, and a Capstone course.

MS Curriculum Chart

Offerings for Fall 2008 are limited to the following:

*IT 665 - Managing IT Programs in the Federal Sector (CRN 77691) on R @ 7:20 in R B-205. A core course. This is a new course that examines the non-technical elements in managing large IT projects and programs in the federal sector.

*ECE 590.007 - Emerging Information Systems (CRN 77892) on W @ 7:20 in T-106. A core course. Also a new course customized for this program, this surveys the new and emerging IT hardware.

*NCLC 595 - Leadership Theory, Praxis and Development for the IT Professional (CRN 72429) on T @ 7:20 in E-121. A core course. This course customized for this program, offers working IT professionals solid materials on the leading Leadership theories plus both individual and team opportunities to reflect and hone best practices.

Note: None of the courses in the MS, Applied IT program demand a prerequisite.
