The AIT department does not give credits for Internships or work experience for credit. We can only accept credit from accredited institutions. However, there are two special cases. See your advisor for approval:

• Students with A+ certification can have IT 212 waived. Note although this requirement is waived, you will not receive credit for IT 212 and will need to substitute another class to be approved by a IT advisor.
• With prior approval, students can do an independent study related to your internship with prior approval.  You may choose to work with a professor and perform the independent study under his/ her guidance.  The independent study will require that you regularly meet with the professor and submit a report at the end of a semester..
